Wow 3 weeks already?

Tempus certainly does Fugit.

One of the reasons there has been a delay in getting started was finding a way to keep the idea going. This flies against all the principles of programming and technology which is to use tech to solve an already  existing problem not create a solution for something that doesn’t exist.

Hmm just thinking of it …..My Sock was actually born of a solution needed solving in this case “sitting at hackathon and needing a program to submit “:) 

Eventually I had my Eureka moment. Eureka!   🙂

Im going to use “My Sock” for doing good. Use the “as yet” , “but soon” to be published windows 8 platform along with FaceBook to create the social aspect of the site but keep the peeps involved by the do good aspect .

Phew!!!

I’m an early adopter, always have been, can not wait for new and exciting tech to come out. Google glasses? throws money  @ Google 

Upload brain into a chip? Where do i sign?

Will i one day be exploded into a million pieces ?  be the fist person to not re-materialize at the end of a transport ? probably 😦

I hope that i don’t, but i will be among the first to be in the line to try it. Its just the little boy inside me and he aint ever gonna grow up

My bit of stuff for Mandela Day?

Thinking. Thinking what will it take to turn everyday into a “Mandela Day”

Just listening to the country jump through hoops to get recognized for doing their

Mandela bit and feeling sad. Hundreds of stories of people cant wait to broadcast in whatever manner possible a tale of how

wonderful they are by doing their “bit” be it on the radio , tv , or interwebs.

Name after name all bragging or pushing thier business and saying i did this!

Where were they Yesterday? and the day before that ? and the day before that?

Imagine how it would be if these same people just on their own, decided to perform some random act of kindness?

Without having their name splashed all over the media?

Now wouldn’t that be wonderful?  Everyday is Mandela day? Everyday when someone seems something needing fixing , they fix it?

Just imagine NEXT year when the next Mandela Day rolls around and 5 gazillion people stand in the street saying “but there is nothing to fix”?

NOW THAT WOULD BE A WORTHY TRIBUTE.

Taking the lead of a great man and working with it everyday  fixing the country , step by step day by day WITHOUT CRAVING RECOGNITION  until one day ,we can take his hand on a hilltop and say “Look Madiba . We did this for you”

Now that would be an awesome Mandela Day

Why is it funny?

I don’t get it.

Why is it kewl to laff at Barney the Disnosaur an his “i love you” song?

It seems to me it took one mentally retarded dumb-ass of an excuse of a “man” who was/is uncapable of love to laugh at the show of a beautiful human feeling and the rest of the world cant wait to jump on the bandwagon like sheep and point and laff…………..”its baaaaaaaaaaaaad” ooh lets laff at the word love …..hahahahahaha

Well then he wasnt really human or a man or anything was he?

Because im pretty sure that babies are born with the ability to love built right into them

So something happened to this…….thing…..cant be human if it cant love

Again on the radio today a huge campaign laffing at the Barney song and awarding fathers a medal for suffering through hours of this song?  I’M SORRY BUT I LOVED EVERY SECOND OF BEING WITH MY DAUGHTER SINGING  AND DANCING  WITH THE PURPLE DINOSAUR AND I WOULD GLADLY WATCH HER DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN!

What sort of message is this sending to the children of the world?

On one side they see this fun purple dinosaur telling them its nice to love everyone but here is

my DADDY telling me its unkewl?  Which do you think is going to stick in the childs brain?
